The engine started up fairly easy and runs great. The problem I have is that the hydraulics work maybe for the first 5 minutes then stops. The front end loader and 3 point stops working.

Remove hydraulic fitting Go in hole & drill into the gland nut just far enough to get a small straight punch in nut. Important don't drill into shaft 3. Use punch to hold inner. Unthread outer nut4. Now push gland nut in. Remove snap ring.

A 7308 loader is listed for somewhat larger tractors, including 1920's). The lift capacity of a 7308 is given as 776 - 1,020 lbs. Of course, lift capacity and maximum weight are somewhat different

I think that the original Ford 1720 has a 3-cyl Shibaura engine--maybe even the same as my 1710. I also recall hearing of 4-cyl. 1720's and that NH did a major redesign of the Ford 1720.
